Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman made a phone call to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
During the contact, the existing areas of cooperation between the two countries and ways of developing it were reviewed, and efforts made to solve the Ukrainian crisis were reviewed, as the Crown Prince stressed the Kingdom’s keenness to exert all good endeavors to facilitate dialogue, and everything that leads to a political solution to the crisis in Ukraine.
While the Russian President renewed his thanks and appreciation to the Kingdom for its constructive efforts and good endeavors, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The Kremlin statement announced that Russian President Vladimir Putin praised Riyadh’s efforts to settle the Ukrainian crisis.
He added that Putin had contacted the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, during which he praised the efforts of Saudi mediation that created conditions for talks with Washington.
The Kremlin also explained that the Saudi Crown Prince expressed his willingness to contribute to the normalization of American -Russian relations.
He said that Putin and Muhammad bin Salman also emphasized the importance of cooperation within the framework of OPEC Plus.

The Russian president’s praise of Saudi Arabia’s efforts and mediation in the Ukrainian crisis comes in appreciation of its good endeavors to enhance international security and stability.
