On Thursday, members of Parliament of 25 European countries continue their visit to the city of Saint Catherine, South Sinai Governorate, for the second day in a row, to visit religious and historical sanctities and the greatest manifestation projects.
Members of Parliament are accompanied by their visit to the city of Saint Catherine, Representative Ihab Ramzi, and M and M and Malia Hilal, and Major General Khaled Mitwalli, Advisor to the Governor of South Sinai for external relations.
47 parliamentarians represent 25 European countries
Ibrahim Abdel Halim, Director General of Public Relations and Information in St. Catherine, told Cairo 24, that Mamdouh Anwar Ali, President of St. Catherine, received a delegation from the European Parliament yesterday, Wednesday, with 47 members, representing 25 countries, under the name of the National Orthodox Association, to visit the city of Saint Catherine, and visit religious and historical sanctities, inspect the manifestation of the city, learn about the lives of the monks Existing in the Monastery of Saint Catherine.
Abdel -Halim confirmed that the delegation ate dinner in the monastery, met the agent of the Bishop of the Monastery, conducted a visit to the Church of the Transfiguration, and inspected the Monastery Museum and the Monastery Library.
Abdel -Halim revealed that the delegation is taking place today, Thursday, a visit to the Great Transfiguration project, and the meeting of many Bedouin sheikhs, the visit of the rest of the holy places in the city, and the visit of the city’s new visitor center in the city.
