Sharjah Charitable Society revealed its efforts to support dialysis patients inside the country during 2024, where it presented 14 thousand and 207 dialysis sessions for patients at a total cost of 11.3 million dirhams distributed between 7177 sessions inside the Sharjah Charity Association for dialysis and 7030 sessions for patients registered in external hospitals and obtained approvals with treatment assistance. This coincides with the International Kidney Day, which is celebrated annually on March 13 to increase awareness of kidney disease and the importance of providing health care for patients with kidney failure.
