Yamal is a diverse cultural mix, born in 2007 in the city of Espelogis de Ubbergat, Catalonia, Spain, to a Moroccan father and a mother from Equatorial Guinea.

Yamal said in his talk about his commitment to fasting Ramadan: “It is related to faith, and I am a believer in my religion, and I am in good health that enables me to fast,” Yamal said in his talk about his commitment to fasting Ramadan. He added: “I wake up at five in the morning to perform the prayer, and drink something that helps my body to stay wet throughout the day, and fasting does not affect my performance.”
