Al -Malab newspaper – Lamin Yamal, Barcelona star, revealed some rituals that he is keen to do during fasting during the month of Ramadan, during a special interview with the Spanish “DAZN” network.
Yamal had obtained, at the beginning of the month of Ramadan, from the fatwa committees on breakfast during the matches, but he seeks as much as possible to maintain fasting during the official meetings of the Catalan club.
Although he obtained the license, the Spanish player did not take advantage of this exception to breakfast during the match days, as he was seen during his team’s confrontation against Benfica, yesterday evening, and he was heading to break his fast after the referee stopped the match specifically for this matter.
Barcelona managed to reserve the qualification card to the Champions League quarter-finals, after beating Benfica 3-1 in the second leg, to complete the qualification with the total of the two games 4-1, after winning a goal without a response.

Yamal is a diverse cultural mix, born in 2007 in the city of Espelogis de Ubbergat, Catalonia, Spain, to a Moroccan father and a mother from Equatorial Guinea.
Yamal said in his talk about his commitment to fasting Ramadan: “It is related to faith, and I am a believer in my religion, and I am in good health that enables me to fast,” Yamal said in his talk about his commitment to fasting Ramadan. He added: “I wake up at five in the morning to perform the prayer, and drink something that helps my body to stay wet throughout the day, and fasting does not affect my performance.”
