The Committee for Technology, Energy, Mineral Resources and Public Utilities in the Federal National Council approved during its virtual meeting held on Tuesday, headed by Dr. Nidal Mohamed Al Tunaiji, Chairman of the Committee, the report of a federal draft law on the national zakat platform. The draft law, which consists of (29) articles, aims to governance, organization, and management of processes receiving, collecting, distributing and disbursing zakat, investing the surplus of them in accordance with legal and legal provisions and controls, and ensuring that zakat is reached to the entitled groups, and the materials include: definitions, the goals of the law, the raying scope, the reception, collection and distribution of zakat, the national zakat platform, conditions and regulations of the statement, and the obligations of the authority Authorized
