The international share of agricultural crops listed and traded on the Egypt Stock Exchange increased by 8.88% at the start of trading on Monday, to circulate at 12.02 pounds per share, to reach its highest price since the list.
2.87 million shares of the International Crops Company shares were traded at that time, with a value of trading 34.67 million pounds.
The highest price for the share was at that time at 13.10 pounds, while the lowest price was at 11.15 pounds per share.
In the first half of the current fiscal year, the financial statements of the International Agricultural Crops Company showed an increase in its profits by 2.6% compared to the same period last year.
The company recorded a net profit of 291.8 million pounds during the period from July to December 2024, compared to profits amounting to 284.47 million pounds during the same period in the last fiscal year, taking into account the rights of the minority.
Nevertheless, the company’s sales in the same period decreased to 1.068 billion pounds, compared to 1.108 billion pounds in the first half of the previous fiscal year.
On the other hand, the company’s share of the works of sister companies witnessed a significant increase, reaching 251.29 million pounds, compared to 83.73 million pounds in the same period last year.
As for the level of independent profit, the international crops for agricultural crops recorded a net profit of 124.67 million pounds during the period from July to December 2024, compared to profits of 200.9 million pounds in the same period in the last fiscal year.
