The University of Bahrain Technology, in cooperation with members of the ISACA Student Group and the Faculty of Computer Science and the Graduate Office, organized the “Bug Busters” competition.
The competition included three stages, centered on the analytical and technical capabilities test for the participants. The four winning teams were honored, as the student, Fahim Halima, from computer science specialization, won the first place, while Iman Mohamed, a student of cyber network and security specialization, won the second place. The Taliban Muhammad Nizyen and Sayed Raed Hussein, from the specialty of computer science, also occupied the third and fourth places.
This competition embodies the commitment of the UTB of ISG club to inspire students from the College of Computer Science and other colleges to participate in technological activities that enhance the culture of creativity in creating technical solutions to the most complex problems.
It should be noted that the UTB ISG group is the first student group (ISACA) in Bahrain, led by the student Muhammad Ali Jumaa from the computer science specialization.
Bahrain University of Technology emphasizes its continuous endeavor to enable students and prepare them to participate in a merit in the technological race, by expanding outside the horizon of the curriculum and participating in practical experiences that enhance their accomplishment for all that is new, which qualifies them to excel in a scene that is constantly developing and leaving their promising mark in local and international forums.
