The Al -Nour Association for Ra’a organized the closing ceremony of the fifth session of the award of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa – may God Almighty have mercy on him, in the presence of Her Highness Sheikha Lulwa Bint Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the honorary president of the Al -Nour Association for Ser.
In the presence of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa, a representative of Her Highness Sheikha Lulwa Bint Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the ceremony started with recitation of verses from the Holy Quran followed by the contestant Badr Saed Mustafa, then followed by the speech of Sheikha Bint Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, President of the Al -Nour Association for Ra – Chairman of the Permanent Committee of the award, delivered on her behalf by Professor Jamal Dawood, the General Supervisor of Coordination and Follow -up, where she praised the initiative Her Highness Sheikha Lulwa Bint Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, for her establishment and support for this Quranic award, in commemoration of the righteous father, His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, may God have mercy on him, and Sheikha Lamia explained that this award is one of the great Quranic competitions in terms of the number of participants or the generosity of its prizes, with the high number of participants in this session of both sex This indicates the speed of the spread of the competition and the desire to preserve and the guidance to participate in it.
Sheikha Lamia added that the new identity and slogan competition for the award of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, which was announced last December, received a great response from creators, artists and institutions, and the committee received posts from artistic creative works and these works vary in many options, most of which express aspects of the competition, and require time to reach the best choice, where the committee settled on three works to liquidate The final is to compete for the first and second positions, and from this standpoint, the committee decided that the best work will be announced on a subsequent occasion, and what befits the goals of this slogan.
Sheikha Lamia also valued the successful community partnership with the Al -Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, headed by His Excellency the Minister, Undersecretary of the Ministry and Director of the Holy Quran Affairs Department, who have been facilitating the work of the competition and its procedures, and fruitful and successful cooperation with the Sunni Endowments Department represented by Dr. Rashid Al -Hajri, Chairman of the Sunni Endowments Council.
