An elderly person was killed by a gunshot in the head at the hands of his son during the tampering with a firearm in his possession, in the Balina Center Department in Sohag Governorate, and the body was transferred to Bardis Central Hospital.

Major General Sabri Saleh Azab, Assistant Minister of the Interior, and Director of Sohag Security, received a notification from Major General Mahmoud Taha, Director of Criminal Investigation in Sohag, that the arrival of Muhammad HMA – 70 years old, a farmer, from the eastern village of Al -Halafi, to the Central Hospital of Balina with a gunshot wound, and his breath after his arrival.
He immediately moved the head of the center’s investigations and the assistant team, and his wife Bakhita AA – 50 years old, a housewife, and residing during the presence of her aforementioned husband at the house, and accompanied by their son Ahmed – 23 years old, worker, and resident in the same area, and if the latter tampered with a firearm in his possession, a shot came out by mistake, causing the injury of her husband who claimed his life,
The accused and the weapon used to guide him were arrested, and in his confrontation, he admitted to committing the incident by mistake, and the necessary report was released to the incident in preparation for the presentation to the competent investigation authorities.
