The owners of Umrah campaigns revealed an unprecedented rise in room prices in Makkah during the last ten period of the holy month of Ramadan, as the price of the room for hotels facing the campus, during that period, reached 7 thousand dinars.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the campaign of Suhaib Al -Roumi, Dr. Suhaib Sharif, explained that the campaign is organizing the weekend trips in Ramadan, which is 550 dinars per person for three nights, where the average price of the room for five -star hotels in front of the campus is 200 dinars per night, and he said: “We have organized two flights until now the first began last Wednesday.”

Suhaib pointed out that the campaign usually consists of approximately 120 pilgrims using air transport from Bahrain Airport to Jeddah Airport, but he stressed that the last ten days of Ramadan is not received due to the high prices of the rooms where the average room is between 600 to 700 dinars per night, and for this reason he decided not to organize trips in that period.

In turn, the owner of the seasons campaign, Jassim Apple, described the last ten days of the month of Ramadan as “the most expensive season per year” where the price of the room reaches 6 thousand dinars for the ten days, and in other hotels that may reach 7 thousand dinars, and stressed that these prices find those who pay it to perform the ritual in the best days of the holy month, noting what was true of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that Umrah in Ramadan is amending an argument He has the honor of time and space.

Apple added: “In comparison with the prices of Hajj, the last ten times excel in this comparison, as the average pilgrimage prices are between 3 thousand to 6 thousand dinars, and for this I do not prefer to arrange Umrah in that period because of the low demand for it.”
