The “Union” Human Rights Association emphasized that women in the UAE have full human rights, fair equality, priority and continuous empowerment that enhances the opportunities for sustainable development. This came in the framework of celebrating the International Day of Women, which falls on the eighth of March annually, under the slogan for this year “rights, equality and empowerment for all women and girls.” The association praised the rational leadership’s keenness to empower Emirati women and open horizons in front of them, as it represents a third of the ministerial formation and 50% of the membership of the Federal National Council, achieving the second place in the women’s representation index in Parliament according to the annual report of global competitiveness for the year 2024, and women occupy 66% of jobs
