Health experts raised concerns about Tattoo By laser, warning that the analysis of ink molecules may lead to their spread throughout the body, which may carry health risks, as the results of a new study showed that people with tattoos may face a greater risk of developing skin and blood cancer, compared to those who do not have a tattoo.
According to what was published in the British newspaper The Sun, scientists from the University of Southern Denmark have explored whether the tattoo ink is able to move beyond the skin and accumulation in the immune system, and found that tattoo ink could harm the lymph nodes, which are the organs in the form of a bean that protects against infection.
The main author Henrik Friedrixen said: tattoo ink can weaken the function of the lymph nodes, and it has other health consequences, and over several decades, it was found that the risk of infection with lymphoma, a type of leukemia that affects the immune system, was three times higher in people with a large tattoo.
At the same time, the researchers found that the risk of developing skin cancer is 62% higher among individuals who have tattoo, and for skin and lymphoma, it was found that the risks are increasing for tattoos that are more than the comfort of the hand.
The results of the study also indicated that the red ink was associated with allergic reactions in some people who have a tattoo on the skin, and tattoo ink may affect the immune response and the health of the body in general.
