Mr. Ahmed bin Salman Al -Muslim, Speaker of the House of Representatives, affirmed that the announcement of the United Nations General Assembly on January 28 of each year is an international day for peaceful coexistence at the initiative of the Kingdom of Bahrain, confirms the high international status of the wise civilization and humanitarian approach, to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country, may God protect and preserve him, and with the support and follow -up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, the Prime Minister.
Pointing out that this international achievement of the Kingdom of Bahrain is added to the record of continuous civilizational achievements in light of the comprehensive development process, and the Kingdom of Bahrain’s keenness to consolidate the values of dialogue and peaceful coexistence between various religions and cultures, their importance in building and developing societies, their prosperity and stability.
Praising the efforts of the King Hamad International Center for peaceful coexistence in presenting this initiative, in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and coordinating with brotherly and friendly countries, which resulted in a international consensus on the approval of the International Day of Peaceful Coexistence, the promotion of international partnership in consolidating the culture of peace, mutual understanding, and respecting religious and cultural diversity.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives explained that the noble message of the Kingdom of Bahrain is the message of peace to the whole world, and that achieving the goals of the “International Day for Peaceful Coexistence” and its high purposes calls for solidarity, solidarity and partnership between all countries of the world and societies, as well as institutions, organizations and bodies, for the good and future of peoples.
Stressing the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the keenness of Bahraini parliamentary diplomacy to support the achievement of the goals of the “International Day for Peaceful Coexistence”, highlighting the global civilizational initiatives and programs presented by the Kingdom of Bahrain, through regional and international parliamentary participations, enhancing partnerships to consolidate the values and principles of peaceful coexistence, enhance human solidarity, and in a way that achieves the goals of sustainable development, peace and stability for all.
