The shares of industrial and engineering projects included and traded on the Egypt Stock Exchange increased by 1.09% at the beginning of trading today, to trade at 0.37 pounds per share, achieving its highest price in 14 months.
Trading on the share of industrial and engineering projects at that time came through 141.39 million shares with a value of trading 52.49 million pounds.
The highest price for the share was at that time at 0.38 pounds per share, while the lowest price for the share was at 0.37 pounds per share.
The stock touched the highest price in a year, two months and 22 days.
In a separate context, the financial statements of the Industrial and Engineering Projects Company showed the first nine months of the year 2024, achieving a significant increase in its profits by 998.35% on an annual basis.
The company stated in a statement to the Egypt Stock Exchange today, that it achieved profits of 13.29 million pounds during the period from January to September 2024, compared to profits amounting to 1.21 million pounds in the same period in 2023.
While the company’s revenues amounted to about 144.86 million pounds during the first nine months of this year, compared to 190.17 million pounds in the same period last year.
As for the first half of 2024, the company recorded profits of 8.91 million pounds, compared to 773.1 thousand pounds in the first half of 2023.
The company also achieved revenues of 59.2 million pounds during the first half of the year 2024, compared to 100.14 million pounds in the same period of the year 2023.
