Dubai: “The Gulf”, Saeed Mohammed Al -Tayer, Managing Director, CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, inspected the progress of work in the sixth phase of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Complex with a capacity of 1800 megawatts, with an independent energy product system, with investments amounting to about 5.5 billion dirhams. The Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Complex is the largest solar energy complex in one location in the world. The complex projects implemented by the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority in the independent product system, the most important foundations for achieving the goals of the Dubai Clean Energy Strategy 2050 and the carbon neutrality strategy 2050 for the Emirate of Dubai to provide 100% of the production capacity of energy from energy sources
