Ramadan is the month of mercy and forgiveness, and it is a great opportunity to spread goodness and gain good deeds, and the act of goodness is not limited to large financial donations, but there are simple ways that anyone can do to spread goodness and win the reward in this holy month.

Here are some ideas that you can easily implement:

Fasting breakfast, even with a date

The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever breaks a fasting person has his reward, but he does not detract from the reward of the fasting person.” (Narrated by Al -Tirmidhi).

You could:

Providing some dates or water to the fasting people at the call to prayer.

Preparing simple meals and distributing them to the needy or passers -by on the road.

Participate in the tables of Rahman or their financial support.

Good word and smile

The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said, “The good word is charity.” (agreed).

He gave encouraged words to those around you, and remind them thanks to fasting and worship.

Smile in the face of others, as a smile sends comfort in the hearts.

Forgive those who offended you, pardon is one of the greatest good deeds.

Helping others in their work

Help the elderly or patients to eliminate their needs.

Give a helping hand to your mosque cleaning or arranging breakfast tables.

Help your family prepare breakfast or arrange the house.

Set aside time to pray for your family, friends and needy.

Pray for those who go through difficult circumstances, the supplication is the greatest gift.

Not to waste food and water

Avoid excessive food, and distribute the excess to the poor.

Make sure to rationalize water consumption during ablution and washing.

Teaching others something useful

Read the Qur’an with your children or friends and encourage them to reflect.

Teach a new person how to pray or read Al -Fatihah properly.

Provide useful advice to help others improve their lives.

Dhikr and seeking forgiveness throughout the day

Make your tongue wet with the remembrance of God, and take advantage of waiting times by saying: “Glory be to God”, “Praise be to God”, “There is no god but God”, “God is great”.

Set aside time after dawn or before breakfast to seek forgiveness and supplication.
