Abu Dhabi: Wissam Shawky warned the Cyber Security Council, against ignoring the reading of privacy policies and approving them without knowing its content, as the council described its approval without reading its content by signing an empty check. The Council pointed out that the privacy policy may contain the approval of the participation of data such as personal information such as the site, private browsing habits, and financial data, as these policies usually reveal disturbing uses, such as participating with external parties, tracking of advertising purposes, and selling data, which may lead to theft of identity and loss of control of how to use private data, and identify targeted ads.
