The Port Said Endowment Directorate published on its official page a warning of the dangers of fireworks, stressing that it represents a false pleasure that carries severe damage to individuals and society.
A threat to your life and the lives of others
The Awqaf Directorate confirmed that fireworks may seem to be a means of joy, but in reality they cause serious injuries and burns that may reach visual loss or limbs, stressing that safety should be a priority in every celebration.
Disturb and violation of the public tranquility
Port Said Endowments indicated that the noise issued by fireworks causes a severe inconvenience to patients, the elderly and children, and leads to spreading panic among citizens, stressing that Islam urges respect for others and not causing harm to them.
Wasting the money in what is not beneficial
She explained that spending money on fireworks is a waste of uselessness, while these funds can be directed to help those in need or do charitable works that spread joy in useful ways.
Port Said’s endowments concluded its statement by calling for the replacement of these harmful habits with safe celebration methods that reflect moral and human values, stressing that real joy is not at the expense of safety and security.
