The National Rehabilitation Center and the World Health Organization concluded the regional forum to enhance the public health response to drug use disorders, and was held over three days from February 26 to 28, in the presence of a number of health care experts, policy makers and civil society representatives in Abu Dhabi. The forum topics dealt with the incorporation of the treatment of narcotic drug use disorders in national health policies, the expansion of rehabilitation services, especially among the most vulnerable groups, the enhancement of damage strategies, and the enhancement of cooperation and the exchange of experiences regionally.
