A source in Zamalek revealed to Cairo 24 that the planning committee puts the player on its priority list to amend his contract in the coming period and that it be a financial contract worthy of what the player offers this season with Zamalek and the last season, as he is the best defender in Egypt at the present time.
The source added that the committee wants to end the current file for the player and renew his contract, although he remains in his contract for two seasons, but negotiations include him by clubs make Zamalek officials want to secure their position and keep the player.
The source concluded his statements, that the committee wants to give the player a promise to leave for external professionalism in the event of a good offer to him, especially since Hossam Abdel Majid has a strong desire to leave the team for external professionalism.
On the other hand, the team will resume its training today, Sunday, in preparation for the confrontation of the Enppi team next Tuesday in the 17th round of the Egyptian League competition.
