Dubai: “The Gulf” is within the framework of promoting a culture of giving and charitable work during the blessed month, the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Work in Dubai launched the third session of the “Step of Life” initiative, within “Ramadan in Dubai”, where the initiative is a model for societal solidarity that translates the steps of the participants into real support for the needy, through an innovative mechanism that depends on measuring the number of steps by converting it into charitable contributions, as the proceeds of the initiative return to “stopping the father.” The initiative depends on the principle of competition between ten residential neighborhoods in the Emirate of Dubai, where the application allows the participants to track their daily steps and add them to the balance of their societal team
