The Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs announced in a statement tonight that the Sharia Vision in the Kingdom of Bahrain decided that tomorrow, Saturday, March 2025, is the first day of the holy month of Ramadan for the year 1446 AH, and the following is the text of the statement:
Praise be to God, who honored us with Islam, and whoever has to fast the month of Ramadan, in which the Qur’an was revealed to the people of people and evidence from the guidance and the difference, and prayers and peace be upon our master and our Prophet Muhammad and his family and companions who met and believed, and after, he urged that entering the month of Ramadan is not legally established except by seeing the crescent or by completing several Shaaban, and since the entry of the month of Sha`ban for the year 1446 AH was in the month of January 31. The Bahraini calendar and other evaluated calendars, the Sharia Videos Authority consisting of the owners of virtue Sheikh Adnan bin Abdullah Al -Qattan, Sheikh Dr. Farid bin Yaqoub Al -Moftah, Sheikh Dr. Ibrahim bin Rashid Al -Muraikhi, and Sheikh Rashid bin Hassan Al -Buainain, met the meeting hall in the Building of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, evening on Friday night, Saturday night, 29 Shaban 1446 AH, corresponding to February 28, February 28.
