Russian divers were killed after an attack from a shark in the Philippines, after they separated from their group due to strong currents, which led to their erosion to the path of a group of hungry sharks near Batangas in the Philippines.

According to the British newspaper “Daily Mail”, the two men were part of a group of four Russian tourists, who were ding near the Batangas Resort yesterday evening. At some point during the trip, the divers separated from the group due to strong currents, according to the Philippine Coast Guard.
The men were receiving instructions from a diving coach, who managed to accompany two of them to the safety of the boat, while the two victims, who were later identified: Elijah Perigudin (29 years old) – Maxim Melikaak (39 years old), disappeared, and they were not found immediately after the accident.
An eyewitness novel
One of the eyewitnesses said that the tourists were diving into the water off the picturesque island of Verdi, which is famous for the rich marine life and the vibrant coral reefs. He added that the divers were near the sea bottom, dazzling the fish of fish that move between the coral reefs, but the strong currents were swept away from the hungry sharks while trying to return to the roof.
Shocking footage under the water showed that the two divers were close to each other moments before the terrible accident, then one of the divers was surrounded by his face while drifting into the collide water, while members of a nearby boat crew were heard requesting first aid.
Coast Guard enter
The Philippine Coast Guard arrived at the accident site after receiving an emergency call at about 1 pm, as they managed to save one of the tourists, who was found unconscious at sea. He was immediately transferred to St. Patrick Hospital in Batangas, but he died upon his arrival.
