The Board of Directors of the Public Authority for Health Care, headed by Dr. Ahmed Al -Sobky, Chairman of the Board of Directors, congratulated President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi, President of the Republic, Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, and Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development and Minister of Health and Population, on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan, asking God to bring him back to Egypt, leadership and people, with good, Yemen and blessings.
This came during the periodic meeting No. (83) of the Authority’s Board of Directors, headed by Dr. Ahmed Al -Sobky, which was held at the headquarters of the authority in Cairo, where the council discussed a number of important issues, reviewed performance reports, and issued a set of decisions supporting the development and sustainability process in providing health services.
The Council approved the granting of special discounts for employees of the authority, in appreciation of their efforts and to enhance their affiliation with them, as these discounts include 50% for first -class relatives, and 25% for second -class relatives who are not beneficiaries of comprehensive health insurance, within the framework of the authority’s keenness to enhance a supportive and stimulating work environment within its health facilities.
The Council also reviewed the results of the authority’s participation in the Arab Health Exhibition and Conference, “Arabs Health 2025” in Dubai, which achieved great success, and resulted in the signing of memoranda of understanding with a number of major international companies, as well as holding several meetings with senior officials. Dr. Ahmed Al -Subki stressed that this visit was fruitful and contributed to strengthening international partnerships and developing health care services in Egypt.
Exclusive rewards for the members of the Receipt Committee
In another context, the Council reviewed the report of the receipt of assets in the South Sinai Governorate, in implementation of Cabinet Resolution No. 2679 of 2024, where the executive position of the receipt process was discussed, and to ensure that all procedures are completed according to the approved standards, and in this context, the Council agreed to disburse exceptional rewards for the members of the Receipt Committee in appreciation of their efforts to accomplish the task efficiently, reflecting the commitment of the authority to support And motivate distinguished work teams.
Within the framework of strengthening governance and internal control, the council discussed the proposal to form the review committee of the Board of Directors, which aims to support internal audit jobs, enhance accounting control, and ensure review of the results of the reports and submitting them to the council for approval. The Council also approved the formation of a technical trust for the committee to ensure the implementation of its tasks efficiently according to the highest quality and professional standards.
In confirmation of the authority’s investment in its human cadres, the Council reviewed the measures taken to establish the Academy of Training Care, in addition to preparing and qualifying 3000 leaders of the second and third grade, in order to enhance the authority’s readiness to keep pace with the accelerating developments in the health care sector, and ensures the sustainability of developing services according to the latest international standards.
