Lock your profile on Facebook is a simple process, by following the following steps:
Open your Android or iOS app and log in to your account.
Click on your profile or three horizontal lines (menu) and select your name to access your profile page.
On your profile page, click on the three points next to the “Add to the Story” button to open the profile settings menu.
Select “Profile Lock”
A screen explaining the profile lock features will appear. Click “lock your profile” to enable the feature.
Once you are completed, your profile will be closed, and only your friends will be able to completely access your content. This process is consistent with both Android and iOS devices.
How to lock your Facebook file on the desktop
If you prefer to use Facebook on the computer or laptop, you can lock your profile by following the following steps:
Open your favorite web browser, go to Facebook.com, and log in to your account.
Click on your profile or name in the upper right corner to access your profile page.
Click on the three points next to the “Profile” button to open the drop -down menu.
From the drop -down options, select “Profile Lock”.
A message will appear in detail what requires the profile lock, click “Lock your Personal File” to activate the feature.
