Alaa Madara, President of the Bahrain Basketball Federation, praised the pioneering initiative launched by His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Acts and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, to organize the sports horse course during the holy month of Ramadan, stressing that this step reflects His Highness’s insight into promoting sport as a way of life and consolidating the culture of physical activity in Bahraini society.
Madara emphasized that the sporting course, which will be held in the Bahrain International Village of ability during the period from 5 to 18 March 2025, represents an integrated sports platform that provides an opportunity for Bahraini youth to compete in 9 various sports, including beach football, beach volleyball, running racing, rope tightening, dwarfon, Al -Badel, Tik Ball Beach, Power and Challenge, and the cycling race.
He added that the establishment of the session during the blessed month of Ramadan holds deep moral and sports implications, as this initiative contributes to enhancing the values of sportsmanship and societal interaction, and the development of Bahraini talents in a distinct competitive environment, which reflects the commitment of sports leadership in the Kingdom to support youth and sports activities.
The President of the Bahrain Basketball Federation pointed out that the great support that His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa for Bahraini Sports has contributed to creating an inspiring sports environment, providing the opportunity for youth to discover their capabilities and develop their skills, noting the interest and follow -up of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Vice President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Authority for Sports and Chairman of the Bahraini Olympic Committee to implement these distinguished initiatives.
Madar also expressed the full support of the Bahrain Basketball Federation for this initiative, wishing all the participants success in this distinguished sporting event, which is a qualitative addition to the sports scene in Bahrain.
He stressed that this tournament is not limited only to the competitive aspect, but also reflects the societal role of sports in promoting the spirit of the team and cooperation between the people of one society, noting that such activities contribute to spreading positive sporting values and enhancing a healthy lifestyle between different age groups in the Kingdom.
