The College of Sharia and Islamic Studies at the University of Sharjah organized a scientific conference under the title: “Intellectual Security: Approaches in the Light of Sharia and Human Sciences”, with the aim of formulating an accurate legal concept of intellectual security, and to discuss legal and scientific solutions to overcome the challenges of intellectual security. This came in the presence of a group of scholars and researchers from various universities of the state and a number of faculty members and students. In his opening speech, Dr. Hamid Mujul Al -Nuaimi, Director of Sharjah University, stressed that intellectual security is one of the basic pillars of the stability of peoples and the protection of their religious and national principles, as this conference comes to highlight the importance of intellectual security and presents the experiences of countries in establishing its rules
