In the strongest terms, Egypt has condemned the recent Israeli attacks on Syrian soil, which is a systematic escalation, a flagrant violation of international law and to underestimate the United Nations Charter.
Egypt stressed that this Israeli approach increases tension and conflict, and is a blatant violation of Syrian sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity.
Obliging Israel to stop abuses against Syria
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Security Council, Egypt demanded that their responsibilities be obligated to stop Israel to stop these blatant abuses and the necessity of putting an end to them.
It also stressed the importance of Israel’s withdrawal from the Syrian territories that it recently occupied in a flagrant violation of the 1974 clashing agreement in preparation for the full withdrawal from the Syrian territories occupied in 1967, given that the Golan is an occupied Syrian land.
