Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that coordination with Iran continues in various international files, and we cooperate with Tehran in the economic field and we are seeking to enhance trade exchange.
Lavrov added in an interview with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araqji: There are extensive Russian contacts at the multilateral level, and Russian -Iranian cooperation to resolve regional issues and crises, which agreed to cooperate to alleviate the negative effects of sanctions on the two countries.
And Abizaid: I discussed with the Araqi the Iranian nuclear program, and we value Iran’s position on the crisis in Ukraine, and Russia’s security must be guaranteed, and Moscow, Tehran and Beijing must be involved to support the political path in Syria.
The agreement between Iran and the members of the Eurasian Union
The Russian Foreign Minister continued: We are awaiting the entry of the agreement between Iran and the members of the Eurasian union, and the Iranian agreement and members of the Eurasian Union aim to enhance economic cooperation.
While Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqji said: I discussed with Lavrov the regional files, especially Lebanon, Syria and Palestine, and we reject any negotiations on the nuclear file under pressure, and we refuse to displace the Palestinian people from their land.
