The Syrian presidency said, on Sunday, that the Syrian president in the transitional stage, Ahmed Al -Shara, received an invitation from his Egyptian counterpart, Abdel Fattah El -Sisi, to participate in the emergency Arab summit held in Egypt on the fourth of next March.
She added in a statement: “The President of the Syrian Arab Republic, Mr. Ahmed Al -Shara, received an official invitation from the President of the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt, Mr. Abdel Fattah El -Sisi, to participate in the emergency meeting of the Council of the League of Arab States, which will be held on the fourth of March of 2025 in Cairo.”
The Egyptian Foreign Ministry announced, on Tuesday, that the emergency Arab summit on Gaza, which was scheduled for next week, announced to March 4, explaining this by completing the “objective preparation” for it.
Zaki stressed that the main motive for any possible postponement is Egypt’s keenness to attend the largest number of leaders to ensure the success of the summit, stressing that the reasons will be purely logistical.
