Belarus and Uganda signed an international governmental agreement to exempt diplomatic and official passports from visas, and the document was signed in the wake of talks between the Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovshenko and Ugandan President Yurei Kajota Museini, during the official visit by the Belarusian Prime Minister to Uganda.
According to the document, the citizens of the two countries will not be asked to hold diplomatic and service passports to obtain visas for entry, exit and transit, if their continuous stay on the lands of the future party does not exceed 30 days from the date of entry, and the total period of residence during the year 90 days, according to the Belarus News Agency.
The governments of Belarus and Uganda also agreed to form a joint committee for commercial and economic cooperation and signed an agreement in this regard. In addition, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the two governments regarding cooperation in the field of food security.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and the Ugandan Ministry of Foreign Affairs signed a memorandum of understanding on political consultations, and a memorandum of understanding was signed on the defense industry partnership between the Belarusian State of Military Industry and the Ministry of Defense and the Affairs of the Old Warriors in Uganda.
Cooperation between Belarus and Uganda
The Ministry of Energy in Belarus and the Ministry of Energy and Minerals Development in Uganda will cooperate in the field of peaceful use of nuclear energy, and these plans have been formally formulated in a memorandum of understanding, and a memorandum of understanding was also signed between the Ministry of Education in Belarus and the Ministry of Education and Sports in Uganda.
The first deputy minister of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry, Sergey Lukashivic, announced during the official visit of Prime Minister Roman Golovshenko to Uganda, that an office for the honorary consul of Belarus in Uganda will be opened, indicating that Africa is currently witnessing a renaissance, and that Belarus is clearly aware of what the countries of this continent need of technology, the sector and the sector Developed agricultural and industrial, etc.

And the Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovshenko conveyed a message from the Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko to Ugandan President Yurei Kajota Musevenin, as part of his visit to Uganda.
