The Information and E -Government Authority participated in the “Profession Day” exhibition in its twenty -first edition, which is organized by the University of Bahrain annually, which was held on February 18 and 1925.
This participation came within the framework of the authority’s constant keenness to communicate with the Bahraini youth category and university students, and to spread their awareness about digital initiatives, in addition to providing them with training opportunities in the information and communications technology sector, which enhances their technical capabilities and increases their opportunities to obtain jobs after graduation .
Through its pavilion at the exhibition, the authority presented an introductory overview of the most prominent electronic services and applications, the most important of which is the recently launched “my government” The developer (Ekey2.0), available via the e -government application store, Bahrain.bh/aps.
Students of technical specializations were also defined by the details of the “Technical Cadres Development Program” and the method of registration in it, which is one of the strategic projects that aims to support Bahraini competencies. The program is targeting young people who are between the ages of 21 and 30 years old and registered in the disruption insurance system, to become human capital and distinguished national cadres that are in line with the requirements of the labor market.
It should be noted that the “Professions Day” is an annual effectiveness organized by the University of Bahrain with the participation of a number of governmental and private agencies, and it is one of the most prominent activities that allow students the opportunity to interact with companies and institutions in order to explore job opportunities and training in various fields.
