He pointed out in a statement to “Al -Watan”, that he assumed the position of the Grand Mufti in Bosnia for a period of 20 years, and this coincided with the periods of war and peace that his country witnessed, and he has his own experience in this bloody struggle that Bosnia witnessed, and he said: “I discovered that the conflict was not religious, But politically with distinction and caused by the ambitions of people in which religion was used to achieve crazy interests.
The former Mufti of Bosnia expressed his thanks to the Kingdom of Bahrain and its wise leadership for the auspicious efforts in holding this most important conference for the Islamic nation, expressing his hope that it will be a start to form an international Islamic committee of Muslim scholars whose mission will be to issue an annual report on the efforts of each country in achieving unity between Muslim sects .
