Today, Thursday, the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Arab Republic of Egypt organized a variety of activities and sports on the occasion of the sports day of the Kingdom of Bahrain, where the activities witnessed the participation of diplomats and employees of the embassy and military and cultural attachés, and included the establishment of a football league, walking sports and exercises.
On this occasion, Ambassador Fawzia Bint Abdullah Zainal, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Arab Republic of Egypt, the permanent delegate to the League of Arab States, confirmed that the allocation of the sports day to the Kingdom of Bahrain reflects the extent of the care and attention of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country, may God protect him He sponsored him, and with the follow -up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, may God protect him, from the interest of sports activity and integration Individuals and perpetuate their energies in various sports and social activities, noting in this regard the decision of the Council of Ministers to allocate half a working day to enable employees to participate in sports activities, in order to enhance the concept of sport for all and develop awareness of the importance of sport and its role in the life of the individual and society.
Ambassador Fawzia Zainal expressed her gratitude for the great role played by His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Affairs and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, and with the follow -up of the Bahrain Olympic Committee led by His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth Sports, Chairman of the Public Authority for Sports, to instill and enhance the value of sports as a health culture for all the people of the Kingdom.
