The students of the Arab Gulf University celebrated yesterday on the occasion of the “Saudi Foundation Day”, in the presence of the President of the University, Dr. Saad bin Saud Al Fahid, and a number of responsibility at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the Kingdom of Bahrain and members of the academic and administrative body of the university.
In his speech, Dr. Al -Fahid presented the highest verses of congratulations and blessings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman, and to the generous Saudi people. Where he said: “The day of the Saudi establishment, which falls on February 22 of each year, is a great national occasion, in which the sacrifices of grandparents who have made the precious and precious to achieve security, stability and prosperity are invoked, stressing the great responsibility to preserve these gains. And that continuous work and solidarity between The people of the homeland under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince is the way to achieve more progress.
The celebration organized by university students included an exhibition and pillars that reflect the historical and cultural depth, as it included folklore, national arts, traditional food, establishment date, and drawing, in addition to multiple student events that included a number of folk dances.
The President of the University stressed that the foundation day represents an important historical station in the march of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which was based on firm foundations of unity and cohesion, which was inspired by a great legacy to build the country and consolidate the principles that made the Kingdom one of the most prominent global powers. He pointed out that this day is a reminder of the current generations and next to the importance of preserving the nation’s gains and enhancing its pioneering role in the region and the world, noting the directives of the wise leadership that contributed to the development of the Kingdom in various fields, and its keenness on education, as the Arab Gulf University had a great role in supporting and promoting education Higher in the area.
Addressing the students: “Celebrating the Foundation Day reflects the pride of the Saudis in their history, their cohesion, and their future visions that seek to achieve leadership and innovation in all fields, and this in turn stimulates all educational institutions in the region to enhance cooperation and exchange of knowledge, to contribute to achieving sustainable development goals.”
