Dr. Maya Morsi, Minister of Social Solidarity, issued a ministerial decision bearing No. 22 of 2025, regarding the licenses of the role of orphans.
The ministerial decision was published, by today, Tuesday, issued by the Official Gazette.
The social solidarity decision stipulated that the permanence of licenses for the role of orphans will continue to be suspended for a year 12/1224/16.

The decision of the Minister of Social Solidarity comes after reviewing the constitution, the Child Law issued by Law No. 12 of 1996 and its executive regulations, and the law of regulating the practice of civil action issued by Law No. 149 of 2019 and its executive regulations, and on Presidential Republic Resolution 258 of 2024 regarding the formation of the government, and on The typical regulations, social welfare institutions for children deprived of family care issued by the decision of the Minister of Social Solidarity No. 188 dated 6/6/2014, and the decision of the Minister of Social Solidarity No. 237 of 2014 to stop the licenses of licenses in the role of accommodation and the role of orphans, for a period of 6 months from 2014/24 2014 and decisions The complement to it and the last of which is the decision of the Minister of Social Solidarity No. 861 issued on 11/29/2023, and based on the presentation of the head of the Central Department of Social Welfare in this regard.
