The Sunni Endowments Administration revealed that work is underway to study the restoration of the fence of the Muharraq Cemetery as a result of the presence of simple cracks, indicating the cost of restoration will range from 100 to 150 thousand dinars, before confirming that the endowments are taught with the competent authorities to restore with high -quality materials so that they maintain the life of the fence up to 10 years .
This came in the response of the “Sunni Endowments” to the inquiry of the Muharraq Municipal Council regarding the developments of the maintenance of the Muharraq Cemetery, where it made it clear that based on the royal directives on building halls in the graves, work on the construction of three halls in the Muharraq cemetery, a hall in the Budaiya cemetery, and another in the cemetery Manama.
She pointed out that the area of the halls will be large to accommodate a large numbers of mourners, in addition to entrances and exits, stressing that coordination has been made with all the concerned authorities, equipping designs, and waiting for some technical licenses to start working on the project.
Regarding the topic of lighting the graves, the endowments indicated that they will work to increase lighting in the graves, in addition to going to solar energy.
