On Monday, the Syrian Ministry of Interior revealed the identity of one of those involved in the “Al -Tadamun neighborhood massacre”, after it announced earlier that it was able to arrest 3 involved.
The Damascus Security Directorate said, in a statement on its platforms, that it “arrested Munther Ahmed Algerian, who is one of those involved in the Al -Tadamun neighborhood massacre, and referred it to the competent authorities.”
In parallel, Syrian press sources published videos showing the moment of the Syrian security forces ready and prepared to implement a massive campaign to arrest those accused of massacres against the Syrian people.
Large numbers of the Syrian Public Security Service and dozens of vehicles appeared in the sections, during a massive raid campaign to arrest those involved in the massacres of Al -Tadamun neighborhood.
For his part, the Director of Damascus Security, Lt. Col. Abdul Rahman Al -Dabbagh, said that “after monitoring and follow -up, we were able to arrest one of the heads of the criminals responsible for the Solidarity massacre in Damascus 12 years ago.”
He added in a statement to the official “SANA” agency: “After the initial investigations with the criminal, we reached several people who had participated in the massacre and arrested two of them.”
He explained: “The three detainees admitted that they were involved in the commitment of ܩܒܼ ܩܒܼ ܩܒܼ ܩܒܼ ܩܒܼ ܩܒܼ ܩܒܼ ܩܒܼ in the Al -Tadamun neighborhood, in which more than 500 men and women of our civilians were liquidated without any trial or charge.
He continued: “We are working to search for the massacres committed in coordination with the competent authorities,” adding: “We assure our people in Syria that the criminals will not escape punishment and we will work to provide them with the judiciary to obtain their fair penalty.”
