Details of a massive campaign in the central neighborhood of Alexandria
This came during a campaign launched by engineer Iman Ahmed Abbas, head of the Central District in Alexandria, with the participation of all concerned parties, to inspect stores and pharmacies.
The Food Inspection Department in the Central Medical District also issued 5 reports, due to the lack of hygiene requirements and the lack of health certificates.
The pharmaceutical inspection passed through 8 pharmacies and recorded 1 non-existence violation, and collected a reconciliation fine of 3,000 pounds, and the General Administration of Environmental Monitoring issued 2 reports for not contracting with the cleaning company.
In the same context, the Occupational Safety and Health Complex issued 3 reports for failure to secure facilities against fire and electrical hazards, and the Labor Office issued 5 immediate reports and 7 warnings for violating the labor law.
The Department of Environmental Affairs issued a report for violating the environmental law, and the Central Supply Department, with the participation of the Consumer Protection Agency, issued 3 reports for selling cigarettes at more than the price and seizing 100 packs, and selling and displaying customs-smuggled electronic shisha oil, which is prohibited from being traded, and seizing 326 packs.
The water company issued a warning for not installing a meter, and a third tax district inspected the tax documents of 7 establishments and seized an establishment that did not meet the tax documents.
This comes within the framework of intensifying control campaigns on markets and shops to protect public health and achieve discipline.
