The Damanhour Criminal Court of Appeals, Third Circuit, held at the Itay al-Baroud Court of First Instance, headed by Counselor Ashraf Ayyad, President of the Court, and with the membership of Counselors Fakhr al-Din Abdel Tawab al-Darjali, Khaled Muhammad Abu Zaid Shukr, and Mahmoud Muhammad Khalil Ghitas, today, Saturday, November 15, the sixth appeal session of the trial accused of assaulting the child Yassin.

In its last session on September 24, the court decided to postpone consideration of the appeal until today’s pleading session.
In its session on April 30, the Damanhour Criminal Court issued a life imprisonment sentence against S.K., 79 years old, accused in the case of a pupil at Al-Karma School in Damanhour, who indecently assaulted him inside the school.
The accused is tried. K.J.A., 79 years old, financial controller in the Diocese of Beheira, and the accused in Case No. 33773 of 2024, Damanhour Central Felony, registered under Total No. 1946 of 2024, Damanhour Central Felony, on a charge of indecent assault without force or threat.
The court affirmed in its findings that the crime represents a blatant violation of the sanctity of the innocent body of the child, and a serious threat to society, which requires a severe punishment to deter the accused and others.
