The opposition judge in Cairo decided to renew the detention of those accused of killing a young man in Al-Salam City, Cairo, for 45 days pending investigation.
Murder of a young man in peace
Earlier, the wife of the young man Salah Ibrahim, the victim of the murder in the Al Salam area, recounted shocking details about the crime in which her husband was killed after he was severely beaten and then thrown from the fifth floor, saying: I want to bring justice to my husband who killed him and threw him from the rooftops.
The wife said in a live broadcast to Cairo 24 that her husband bought a car from one of the defendants on the installment plan, and began making the monthly payments, but about 15 days after the first payment, the defendant called him and asked to return the car, saying that he would consider the amount paid as rent.
She added: My husband refused and told him this amount was for the car, not rent, and we have a law, so the accused told him that I would know how to get my rights.
The wife concluded: 3 days after the call, he came to the door of the house at 7 in the morning, and told him, “Come, let’s talk to each other.” He actually went down with him, and there were two other people with him. They took him out and put him in a tuk-tuk and took him to the accused’s house in the Al-Salam area on the rooftops.
