The German Skyliners and Swiss Handung Lugano teams decided to hold two preparation camps in the Kingdom of Bahrain, in preparation for the final Manama leg of the 3×3 Basketball World Tour “Masters” category, which will be held on November 21 and 22 in the “North Harbor” area in the capital, Manama.
This step confirms the prestigious position that Bahrain enjoys in the global 3×3 basketball scene, due to its modern infrastructure and advanced sports facilities that meet the requirements of international teams and national teams, in addition to its extensive organizational experience in hosting major tournaments.
The German Skyliners team is undergoing its second experience in Bahrain after holding a successful training camp last October, which reflects the great confidence that international teams place in the distinguished sporting and organizational atmosphere that the Kingdom provides.
The two camps are expected to witness intensive training and strong friendly matches aimed at raising the technical and physical readiness of the two teams before entering the final stage competitions, which will bring together an elite group of the strongest teams in the world in the 3×3 game.
These camps also contribute to revitalizing the tourism movement in the Kingdom of Bahrain, through the global media and sports momentum they achieve, and the opportunity they provide to introduce the Kingdom’s unique tourism potential and high-quality hospitality services, which enhances Bahrain’s image as an integrated sports and tourism destination in the region.
Bahrain’s hosting of these preparatory camps confirms that it has become an attractive destination for Gulf and international teams and teams in the game of 3×3 basketball, thanks to the great development witnessed by this sport in the Kingdom and the unlimited support of the sports leadership, which has made it a prominent regional center for activities in this rapidly spreading game.
