Hungarian international Peter Gulacsi, goalkeeper of the first football team of the German club RB Leipzig, praised the level of the Egyptian international Liverpool duo Mohamed SalahAnd his compatriot Soboslai, stressing that they are among the best in the world.
Peter Gulacsi said in television statements: Dominik Soboslai, I have known him for a long time, I think since he was sixteen years old, and since then it was clear to all of us, to him and to those around him, that he would become a great player, not only for his skills, but for his personality as well. To become the captain of his country’s national team at such a young age is very rare in the world of football.
He added: When Soboslaj came to Leipzig, he was injured at first, but after his recovery he quickly established himself and became a pivotal player in the team. He is distinguished by the intensity of his performance and his high running rate, which makes him one of the best players in the world in terms of defensive and offensive work together. The offensive pressure always started from him, and he extracted balls wonderfully, and we all know the strength of his shots, his dribbling skill, and his touches on the ball, but the most important thing about him is that he also led the team without the ball, and this is an essential element. For any team that wants to impose its style and recover the ball quickly. And Dominic is the perfect player for that type of team.
Regarding Mohamed Salah, he said: I also faced Salah when he played for Liverpool, and he scored a goal against me in the Champions League, and almost scored another last season.
He continued: Salah is a very special player in the right lane. He loves to go deep, has a strong left foot, and a dangerous dribbling skill. It is very difficult to defend against a player like him, and his continued provision of the same level of goals and assists with Liverpool made him one of the club’s most prominent players in its recent history.
He added: During my time in Liverpool, I noticed how the city’s fans appreciate players who remain loyal to the club, and he is one of them. He had many opportunities to transfer, but he chose to stay and continued to give, winning the Champions League and the English League twice with the team. That’s why I see him as one of Liverpool’s greatest players.
When asked about who are the three best players I played with, he said: For me, and from what I have seen of their development and career, I would say that the first one is Yoshko Gvardiol, and then the choice becomes difficult, but Dani Olmo was one of the most distinguished players during my time with the team, and currently, Dominic Soboslai from Liverpool is one of the very prominent players, and I also played with Ibrahima Konate, Upamecano, and Nkunku, all of whom are great players.
He concluded: But if I had to choose three very special players for me – knowing that I am doing injustice to others by leaving them – I would mention Emil Forsberg, Willy Orban, and Yusuf Poulsen, and I could also add Lukas Klostermann, Kevin Campbell, and Marcel Halstenberg. These players accompanied me for many years, and we moved together from the second division to the top in the Champions League, and this shared journey created very special relationships between us.
