The El Alamein Misdemeanor Court ruled to imprison Maryam A., who was accused of riding a jet ski at reckless speed and causing the death of little Adam, one year old, and to refer the civil case to the competent civil court.

The defense of the victim, Adam, requested that the case be returned to the Public Prosecution to include Reem A.S.M., the accused’s sister, as the original perpetrator of the crime. He submitted a copy of the jet ski rental contract used to kill Adam and cause the victims’ injuries, signed by the accused’s sister, and an acknowledgment that she bears criminal and civil responsibility for the injuries or damage caused to others, and insisted on including her as an original accused in the case.
