Dr. Louay Saad El-Din Nosrat, Acting President of Aswan University, met with journalist Maher Al-Khudairi, to discuss the details of the university’s participation in the Aswan Toshka Agricultural Conference and Exhibition 2025, which is scheduled to be held during the period from 25 to 27 November in Aswan Governorate, for the second year in a row.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways of joint cooperation between the university and the conference organizers, with the aim of highlighting the university’s role in supporting the agricultural development system in Upper Egypt, and transferring academic and research expertise into a practical reality that contributes to achieving food security and sustainable development, especially since the university has the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, which is the center for agricultural and academic consultations and studies.
Aswan University’s participation in the Aswan Toshka Agricultural Conference and Exhibition
Dr. Louay Saad El-Din Nosrat said: Aswan University’s participation in the Aswan Toshka Agricultural Conference and Exhibition is an extension of the university’s role in community service and environmental development, and an emphasis on the importance of scientific research in developing the agricultural sector.
He continued: We are keen for the university to be a scientific platform that provides innovative solutions that contribute to the investment of natural resources in Aswan and Toshka, in line with the state’s trends towards achieving self-sufficiency and enhancing food security.
He concluded: Through the Aswan Toshka Agricultural Conference and Exhibition, we aim to highlight national efforts in supporting modern agriculture and agricultural technology, and to highlight national projects in the Toshka region as a source of hope and prosperity for the future of agriculture in Egypt.
