Engineer Asem Abdul Latif Abdullah, Undersecretary for Agriculture and Livestock Affairs at the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture, participated in the high-level regional agricultural dialogue held in the Jordanian capital, Amman, organized by the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development in cooperation with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and a number of regional and international partners, during the period from 5 to 6 November 2025, with the participation of a number of ministers, officials and experts from various Arab countries, and representatives of financial institutions and international organizations, with the aim of discussing Ways to promote sustainable agricultural development in the Arab region, in addition to exchanging experiences on circular agriculture, innovation and sustainable finance.
During his participation, Engineer Asim Abdul Latif Abdullah stressed the importance of exchanging Arab experiences in the fields of agricultural development and enhancing regional cooperation in the field of enhancing food security, noting the Kingdom of Bahrain’s keenness to adopt effective initiatives to develop agricultural and livestock production, in keeping with the goals of sustainable development and Bahrain’s economic vision, and supporting various segments of society in the agricultural sector.
