
In a new achievement that reflects its firm commitment to protecting information and enhancing cybersecurity, the National Bureau of Revenue won the Cyber Vision Award for the Public Sector, during the Cybersecurity Awards Ceremony held on the sidelines of the third edition of the Arab International Cybersecurity Conference and Exhibition AICS 2025, which was organized by the National Center for Cybersecurity in cooperation with the DEF CON Global Conference, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister.
This honor comes in recognition of the outstanding efforts made by the National Bureau of Revenue in developing the information protection system and applying the best international practices and standards in the field of cybersecurity, to ensure data integrity and information privacy in an advanced digital environment.
On this occasion, Rana Ibrahim Faqihi, CEO of the National Bureau of Revenue, expressed her pride in this achievement, stressing that information security represents a strategic priority for the agency, and is an essential part of its vision for digital transformation and the provision of safe and reliable services, which comes as a continuation of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s journey in establishing an advanced digital system characterized by trust, flexibility, and readiness. She also thanked and appreciated all the work teams and those responsible for this achievement, who have proven their high competence, continuous commitment, and proactive efforts to enhance Cyber capabilities of the device.
