Ahmed bin Salman Al Muslim, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Parliamentary Division of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Speaker of the Shura Council, received today (Wednesday), Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, Chairman of the Shura Council of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and his accompanying delegation, upon their arrival in the Kingdom of Bahrain to participate in the work of the nineteenth regular meeting of the heads of the Shura, Representatives, National and Nation Councils of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, which begins tomorrow (Thursday) in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The Speakers of the Shura Council and the House of Representatives expressed their welcome to the Speaker of the Saudi Shura Council and the delegation accompanying him, praising the depth of the deep-rooted fraternal relations that bring together the Kingdom of Bahrain and the sister Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in light of the support and interest of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the country, and his brother, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
For his part, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, Speaker of the Saudi Shura Council, thanked and appreciated the Speakers of the Shura and Representatives Councils for their distinguished efforts and their continued interest in supporting the process of Gulf parliamentary work, praising the Kingdom of Bahrain’s hosting of the nineteenth meeting of the heads of Gulf councils and parliaments.
