Dr. Ibrahim Saber, Governor of Cairo, confirmed the completion of preparations for holding the House of Representatives elections scheduled to be held on November 24 and 25.
82.6% of Cairo’s population has the right to vote in the parliamentary elections, with 8.6 million voters
The Governor of Cairo urged citizens to participate in the elections and exercise their constitutional right, stressing that participation is a national duty for everyone, and that citizens have a positive role in the nation’s democratic process through voting.
The governor pointed out that 82.6% of Cairo’s population has the right to vote, with the number of voters being approximately 8,621,305 voters out of a total of 10,427,030 citizens according to the latest census, distributed among 19 general committees with 724 subcommittees within 334 electoral centers.
The Governor of Cairo stressed that the governorate stands at the same distance from all candidates and that its role in the upcoming House of Representatives elections is limited only to completing the preparation and preparation of the electoral headquarters, providing logistical support to those in charge of them, working to provide amenities for citizens while casting their votes, adhering to the rules of the National Elections Authority, and standing completely neutral towards all candidates.
