
His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Governor of the Southern Governorate and Chairman of the Security Committee, chaired the eleventh Security Committee meeting for the year 2025, in the presence of His Excellency Brigadier Hamad Mohammed Al Khayyat, Deputy Governor, Colonel Sheikh Salman bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Deputy Director General of the Southern Governorate Police Directorate, and a number of officers from representatives of the security authorities in the Ministry of Interior.
At the beginning of the meeting, His Highness the Governor of the Southern Governorate welcomed the attendees, noting that His Highness pointed out that the principle of community and security partnership contributes to consolidating the foundations of security through various frameworks of cooperation and joint coordination, in implementation of the directives of General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, to provide security and safety in various parts of the governorate.
Then, His Highness the Governor, Chairman of the Security Committee, followed up on the preparations, arrangements and security readiness necessary to receive national occasions, events and exhibitions that will be held in the coming period and which will be witnessed in all regions of the governorate, in order to ensure joint security coordination between the security departments.
On a related level, His Highness the Governor was briefed on the efforts of the General Traffic Department in optimal preparation to receive events, by monitoring the flow of traffic and organizing roads by harnessing traffic patrols and providing everything that would enhance traffic security and safety.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the attendees, representatives of the security departments, praised the role played by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Governor of the Southern Governorate and Chairman of the Security Committee, in following up and implementing the security arrangements, and His Highness’s endeavor to achieve them in accordance with the principle of pioneering community partnership.
